About Us

MG Wind Pty Ltd was formed in 2022 to provide next level of service to the Wind Energy Market in Australia with mechanical maintenance. Our staff have a combination of decades of experience and training from top tier OEM's and global wind farm specialist service work. Due to the high level of skill, knowledge and tooling ability within the company, ZF Wind Power has chosen MG Wind as their sole agent in Australia for service, sales and warranty support.

Meet the Team

Director

Matthew Gepner

With over three decades of specialist engineering experience, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and global industry insight. My career spans 6 years in aircraft engineering maintenance, 10 years in materials handling engineering and turbo machinery, and 15 years dedicated to wind drivetrain technology. This breadth of experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of complex mechanical systems and the evolving needs of the renewable energy sector.

Throughout my career, I have successfully established top-tier OEM agent companies across international markets, secured major supply-chain contracts with leading European OEMs, and built new businesses from greenfield level. I take pride in developing highly skilled teams and leading them to perform in challenging environments, ensuring operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

I hold qualifications as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (trade), along with a ME Diploma and a Bachelor of Commerce—an educational foundation that blends hands-on technical knowledge with strategic business capability.

My passion is to create high-performing teams and work alongside the best customers, staff, and suppliers in the renewable landscape. I am driven by the opportunity to contribute to a cleaner future while fostering collaboration, innovation, and long-term industry partnerships.

CFO & Owner

Patricia Gray

Patricia Gray brings over three decades of experience in the property and building industry. As the founder and CFO of her consulting business, she spent 10 years providing expert guidance across the building sector, following a successful 20-year career as a residential property developer in Sydney.

Patricia holds a Diploma in Building Surveying and a Certificate III in Horticulture Produce, combining her technical expertise with a deep appreciation for sustainable practices.

Beyond her professional life, Patricia enjoys spending time on her farm surrounded by her animals, where she grows organic fruit and produce. A proud mother of six, she values hard work, integrity, and a genuine connection to the land and community.

Project Manager

Dean Leydecker

With over 30 years of experience in the power transmission industry, Dean brings extensive expertise in operations management, project delivery, and mechanical systems. He has spent 15 years in gear manufacturing with Moventas, Santasalo, and DB Santasalo, developing a deep technical understanding of industrial drive systems and their performance in demanding applications.

Now , at MG Wind, Dean oversees operational planning and project execution across renewable energy projects, ensuring every phase is delivered safely, efficiently, and with precision.

His career spans successful project delivery across multiple sectors — including renewables, mining, sugar, and rail — giving him a broad perspective and practical approach to complex engineering challenges.

Driven by an end-user focus and the belief that “the best plan wins — with the right people in the right roles,” Dean is committed to building high-performing teams and delivering lasting value for MG Wind’s clients and partners.
